TEI has become one of the finest Foundry Tooling & Prototype Casting facilities in the world. This facility has the capability of producing low-volume castings in most aluminum alloys.

The Casting & Development Center offers testing of customer tooling, the production of cores and castings prior to delivery, and hot testing of complete molds that allows the tooling to be checked for thermal stability. With emphasis on extending the working life and improving the thermal stability of the tooling, TEI researched various types of materials and heat-treatments used in the manufacturing of molds and coreboxes.  Those material specifications have now been incorporated by many of their customers.

TEI is fully equipped to handle all ranges of wood and plastic prototype tooling. Customers can enjoy the benefits of in-house engineering whether they need 20 castings for prototype or 2,000 castings for production runs.
